What aspects of Peimar’s activity in India make you most proud at the moment?
“One of the most important strategic decisions we made in India was to break the pallets and serve every segment of clients, from small installers and EPCs to large dealers and wholesalers. This move allowed us to be closer to every type of customer and to build long-term relationships across the entire value chain.”
In your opinion, what are the main strengths that distinguish Peimar in the Indian market?
“There are a few aspects that truly set us apart from other brands. First of all, our Italian identity. We are one of the very few European brands operating in India, which gives us a unique positioning in a market dominated by local and global competitors.”
“Secondly, pricing: despite the 40% import duty, we are still able to maintain very competitive prices, making our solutions accessible to a wide range of customers.”
“And finally, our commitment to service. As a team, we have always kept ourselves available 24/7 for our clients, handling everything from sales and delivery to after-sales support, damage refunds, claims, and logistics. This constant presence has created a strong sense of reliability and trust.”
Could you share something interesting about the reception and perception of Peimar’s products in India?
“In states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, New Delhi, Kerala, Maharashtra etc we were able to create an brand awareness for our product. As a product we provide a higher warranty than most other brands in India. Our modules have created a name in specific sectors like agriculture, irrigation, farming, animal husbandry etc mostly in rural areas of India. In past 3 years we were able to create a loyalty among our customers, multiple clients have been our long-term partners.”
What future prospects or projects excite you the most for Peimar’s growth in India?
“Looking ahead, innovation will play a central role in our next phase of growth. The introduction of bifacial and TOPCon modules will be true game changers. At present, we are offering one product variant, the OR10H545M, but the market is evolving rapidly. More than 80% of new solar projects in India today are already being built with bifacial panels.”
“Demand is robust and expected to grow strongly, fueled by their higher energy yield, greater efficiency, supportive government policies, and wide applications in both large-scale projects and urban rooftop installations. For us, this shift is not just an opportunity, but a strategic step forward to strengthen our position and continue to expand in one of the world’s most dynamic solar markets”
