The growth of renewable energy requires an electricity system capable of evolving at the same pace as new installed capacity. The Dominican Republic is moving in this direction with a new phase of development aimed at strengthening the flexibility and integration capacity of its electricity grid. For the photovoltaic sector, more suitable infrastructure means greater opportunities to transform the country’s potential into new generation capacity. The development of new installations must therefore progress in coordination with the evolution of the electricity system that integrates them.

In this scenario, module technology also plays an essential role. Peimar can contribute to this evolution with photovoltaic solutions suitable for projects of different sizes, supporting the development of new renewable capacity that the Dominican electricity system is preparing to integrate.
