This is demonstrated by German research using a modified Canon EOS 4000D, with the infrared filter removed and the device subjected to a specific calibration procedure.\nIn this way, the camera was able to detect the electroluminescence emitted by silicon cells, providing quantitative information also related to open-circuit voltage.
