Lithuania's photovoltaic market has changed dramatically in just a few years. By mid-2026, installed capacity had reached approximately 3.5 GW, after passing the 3 GW milestone at the end of the previous year. What makes this development particularly interesting is how that capacity is being built. Distributed generation is playing a major role, with households and small-scale producers becoming increasingly active participants in electricity generation.

This growth is bringing photovoltaics closer to the places where electricity is actually consumed. Residential rooftops, small businesses and commercial surfaces are becoming part of a more distributed energy system, a variety of applications where Peimar's module portfolio can respond to different project requirements and contribute to the continued expansion of photovoltaics across Europe.
