What are the most urgent energy needs in the African markets where you operate?

“Across Africa, one of the most important energy challenges is ensuring access to reliable electricity at sustainable costs. Frequent power outages, unstable electricity grids and rising energy costs are pushing both businesses and governments to accelerate investment in photovoltaics. Today, customers are looking for solutions that not only reduce electricity bills, but also provide greater energy independence, security and long-term stability.”

Which photovoltaic applications are experiencing the fastest growth?

“The Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sector is currently experiencing the most significant growth, driven by companies’ need to reduce operating costs and ensure a more reliable energy supply. At the same time, utility-scale projects are gaining increasing momentum, supported by government renewable energy programs and growing demand for clean energy infrastructure.”

“Off-grid and hybrid systems also continue to play a key role, particularly in more remote areas, where they provide access to electricity for communities that are not connected to the national grid.”

What characteristics make a photovoltaic product truly suitable for the African market?

“To succeed in the African market, a photovoltaic product must combine high efficiency, durability and reliability. Modules must ensure high performance even in very high temperatures, intense solar radiation and challenging environmental conditions such as dust and humidity. Customers also place great value on strong warranties, consistent product availability and timely technical support, all of which are essential to ensuring a secure and long-lasting investment.”

“The Peimar 610 W N-Type TOPCon bifacial double-glass module is currently one of the most in-demand products in the African markets where we operate.
