Inside Peimar’s strategy for Canada: a conversation with Ricardo Delgado

We interviewed Ricardo Delgado, Sales Manager at Peimar’s Canadian branch, to explore the company’s approach to the local market, highlight its flagship products and understand the strategies adopted to meet the needs of a rapidly growing photovoltaic sector.

Can you tell us more about Peimar’s current focus in the Canadian market?

“Absolutely. Our focus in Canada is rooted in providing reliable, high-performance solar solutions that meet both current market needs and long-term expectations. The Canadian solar sector continues to mature rapidly, and our presence, supported by fully stocked warehouses in Montréal, allows us to provide fast and responsive service to local customers.”

Are there any flagship products that are currently proving particularly successful with customers?

“Yes, one product that has gained significant traction is our 500W SA500MFB Full Black module. It combines exceptional aesthetics with high technical performance, making it particularly attractive for both residential and commercial applications. Customers appreciate its elegant design and high energy yield, and we are seeing growing interest from installers and developers looking for a premium, reliable solution.”

What sets Peimar modules apart in such a competitive market?

“One of the main distinguishing factors is that Peimar owns its own manufacturing facility in Italy, where only Peimar-branded modules are produced. This guarantees not only quality and traceability, but also consistency in terms of availability and performance. Today, in a context where international sourcing can involve unexpected challenges, customers are looking for stability and transparency. Italy’s strong industrial standards and reputation for engineering excellence provide an additional level of confidence that is difficult to match.”

How has the changing global supply chain landscape influenced your strategy?

“Rather than reacting, we leveraged our strengths. Having our base in Italy has proven to be a strategic advantage. It allows us to avoid many of the issues affecting other supply chains while maintaining full control over the production process. More than ever, customers recognise the importance of sourcing from regions that offer both manufacturing excellence and a stable economic and political environment. This awareness has created a favourable environment for Peimar modules.”
