Peimar's development in France: proximity, quality and European vision

An interview with a Peimar sales representative who reveals the company’s strategy in western France, the dynamics of the residential photovoltaic market and the Made in Italy solutions designed to address today’s energy challenges.

What is your area of operation in France, and how is your work structured?

“I am responsible for business development in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Pays de la Loire and Brittany regions. The goal is to be increasingly closer to distributors and installers. For this reason, I organise in-person meetings, technical training sessions and personalised sales support. Supporting this commitment is a team of five sales representatives operating throughout France, together with a technical and after-sales service based in Paris, ready to respond to professionals’ requests and provide support during system commissioning.”

What is the photovoltaic market like in your area today?

“It is a highly dynamic market. The steady increase in energy prices is encouraging many households to take an interest in self-consumption, particularly solutions with integrated energy storage systems. I am seeing very strong demand for high-quality, reliable products backed by long-term warranties. With Peimar, we offer a 30-year product warranty and a 30-year linear performance warranty at 90%. In addition, QBE insurance provides real added value: it protects distributors, installers and end customers, and is often appreciated by the insurance companies that work with tradespeople.”

In your opinion, how important is Made in Italy when choosing a product today?

“It is certainly an important factor. Italian origin is associated with manufacturing quality, attention to detail and industrial strength. At a time when energy independence and local production are key issues, being able to rely on a dependable production supply chain is essential. With a production capacity of 500 MW, Peimar provides a concrete response to these needs.”

Which Peimar products and solutions best meet local needs?

“450 W and 500 W modules featuring TOPCon technology are among the most in-demand products thanks to their high performance. We also manufacture coloured panels — red or green — and custom solutions designed for revamping projects, with formats that are now unavailable on the standard market. One of our strengths is our ability to offer a complete system: microinverters, hybrid and grid-tied inverters, elegantly designed stackable batteries and EV charging stations. With a single point of contact, you can manage the entire photovoltaic system.”

What signs confirm the growth in demand in 2025?

“Today, only around 6% of primary residences in France are equipped with a photovoltaic system. This shows that the potential is still enormous. The reduction in VAT to 5.5% planned for the last quarter will provide an important boost to investment, especially when combined with energy storage systems. European directives supporting Made in Europe and customs measures are also driving demand towards local and reliable solutions. With the planned end of ARENH in January 2026 and the economic impact associated with the renovation of existing power plants, a further increase in electricity prices can be expected. Self-consumption is becoming a natural choice, and Peimar is ready to support you with versatile solutions designed to meet the needs of the European market.”
